Snow and ski
This season Astún and Candanchú are joining forces to enjoy this season a "unique ski area in the Aragón valley" of 100 kilometers, 101 runs, 14 itineraries and 40 lifts with a transport capacity of 46,000 skiers per hour. The two resorts will be permanently connected by free shuttle buses that will make the short distance between them.
Candanchú is a ski resort with a long history, which is considered "the most alpine resort in the Pyrenees, with steep mountains and rugged peaks ". It is located in the Pyrenees mountains, in the Aragon Valley, a few kilometers from the French border.
Astun has a good orientation, it is well protected from wind currents and its splendid orography with slopes covered with grassy meadows, increase the security of quantity and quality of snow from the beginning of the season. Likewise, the resort has slopes of all levels of difficulty and with descents to the valley through a landscape of great beauty and lifts with sufficient capacity most days.
These are two of the most special places to ski in Spain.
